Did you know that while women and girls make up about 50% of any refugee, internally displaced, or stateless population, they bear the brunt of discrimination and violence?

For International Women’s Day 2023, Crystal Dynamics is once again spreading awareness of the incredible and essential work done by the International Rescue Committee. In addition to facilitating life-saving care and emergency supplies in areas of need, the IRC formally advocates for the protection and rights of women and girls, provides gender-based violence programming in 38 countries/regions around the world, and works to lay a foundation for long-term economic, social, and political equity.

Why won’t women wait? Because they can’t. Rather than waiting for conflicts to end, laws to be passed, or protections to be put in place, Women act as first responders, humanitarians, activists, and more.
